Otherwise, I think it could be cool to let people vote for tags. You can separate scrapped tags from people-voted tags, so unplayed games will still have something. I do think these tags should be more specific, and could take inspiration from how some hentai sites do things.

If you think about it, on F95 or DlSite, tagging exists because there's a very diverse set of content available which basically leads to different graphs of people coexisting on the site but never wanting to interact with each other's content (NTR vs Vanilla, Female MC vs Male MC). This site already focuses on a niche already, and one sufficiently specific that it's difficult to really subdivide the audience further
	DiscipleOfIlias 2026-03-05T06:20:35Z Looking at the utility of tags from this perspective, True Love, Degradation, and Twisted become useful tags, since there are people that really dislike femdom games where the MC is constantly humiliated throughout, so they can avoid Degradation tag. The lemma to this would be that the games are actually *overtagged* on esp. "[Content] Focus" tags, i.e. I would expect a game tagged Foot Focus to have a significant amount of Foot stuff to the point where it makes up a majority of content (read: literally "focus"), but Monster Girl Paradox is labelled with all of the focus tags, making it completely uninformative, whereas something like "In the Hamlet of Petite Bigtits" actually is a "Titjob Focus"— it ONLY has that content.

	Lallapalooza 2026-03-12T06:16:53Z I'm a lazy person,so what I did is whenever a game is added MEL automatically scrap the thumbnail image from dlsite and store them in a folder on the server. But of course it only works if the game has a dlsite link :#

There's also the issue of being dependent on the URL consistency of the images (games on DLsite sometimes change URLs when they go from unreleased to released)
